Great job Sarah. Looks like you are representing me very well in telling people how I feel. Save our suburbs!

Jules

Another great job Sarah!

PS I read the ministerial press release that the Community Reference Group has been announced - do we know who is on it?

Thankyou Sarah for the very realistic depiction of what it will be like for our children if our meeting/community space is sacrificed for a useless highway.

I am very disappointed that local & state government can’t see that this will wreck the whole area’s lifestyle.

It really annoys me that those who haven’t been here to see the area think that the people who are upset about the Kenmore Bypass just live next to it. That is bad enough in itself but there are thousands of residents that live in the Kenmore valley that surround it, look into it on the surrounding valley walls.

There are probably hundreds more of residents that will be affected at the area where it joins the centenary freeway as well.

We also did not buy on a cheap market 11 years ago in fact was more expensive than most of Kenmore because of the magnificent views and most beautiful outlook onto the green tree valley below us.

The government really needs to get this message loud and clear WE DON’T WANT THE KENMORE BYPASS AS IT SERVES NO USEFUL PURPOSE WHAT SO EVER. It would be a WASTE of tax payers money and yes what about those MASSIVE increases in our rates.

the frustrating thing is, the KB won’t even solve the congestion issue.

but perhaps the govt is more interested in re-directing freight to the TOLL TUNNEL at toowong roundabout?

Just want to remind people, that while it is great to connect on this site, it is important to keep lobbying the government at all levels. Since June 16th the amount of mail, e-mail etc. to the government on this issue has reduced….so everyone, keep it up! We would all hate for the government to think that a lessening of our contact with them indicates a lessening of our interest or our concern. Make them hear us!
