Here’s the election event you’ve all been waiting for.
Transition Town Kenmore District has organised a candidates’s debate (18 March, 7:30 pm, Uniting Church Hall, 982 Moggill Road Kenmore). They have definite confirmation from most of the candidates (including the major parties), so it should be the one occasion to find out what we all really stand for.
It’s great to have a non-partisan organisation running the debate. I hope as many of you as possible will show up.
They don’t as yet have a web site but I’ve listed it here: http://greenupmoggill.org/events/ and you can find out more about the transition towns movement here: http://www.transitiontowns.org/
