See below for a recent article in the Courier-Mail about Margaret de Wit, in relation to the post we made recently. The article opens with: “A Liberal councillor has been accused of using standover tactics against a local Neighbourhood Watch.” See also this article online which seems related to the same matter.

We still urge everyone to periodically write to their representatives to make their voices heard about the Kenmore Bypass and Moggill Pocket Sub Arterial. Though the official public comment period is over, politicians are always tracking public opinion, and yours matters!

We were contacted by a businessman who saw the article, lives in the Ipswich area, offering hire of chairs and marquees FREE OF CHARGE to the Neighbourhood Watch. I have advised the organiser. The funding was for different things. What a generous person though, offering something with no strings attached for a worthwhile community group and their event.
