I have just received the Westside News and there is the best letter I have ever seen about the Kenmore Bypass. Well done Craig for highlighting that Moggill rd is part of the commercial corridor and that the Kenmore Bypass is a road through the quiet RESIDENTIAL area of Kenmore. It is indeed not a bypass of Kenmore because it goes through Kenmore.

I would like to add that being a residental area it sould stay a residential, this is where people live, eat, sleep. go for walks, play, rest, listen, greive, escape the maddness of this crazy world. Have BBQs in our homes and in our quiet backgardens, discover nature, exercise our dogs, breathe deeply and raise our families and love them.

This is not the place for a freeway and it should never have been considered as a solution to congestion in the west. It is a really senseless thing to do to a community, to impinge upon and in many cases ruin their lives.

In addition I will be attending the meetings above, we must pull together to save the west so that sensible and sustainable solutions can be found to our problems.

I wonder where all the traffic counters have gone???? They too must have school holidays!! Certainly is a great way to get an accurate traffic count.
