WELCOME!

This site represents the effort of a large community united to find a better alternative to the Moggill Pocket Sub Arterial (Stage One and Two), which includes the so-called Kenmore Bypass. This proposed major road would slice through the reserve corridor from Kenmore to North Tivoli and many suburbs in between. Stage One starts by dividing Kenmore, and this is where all the threatened communities must make their stand to stop Stage Two.

We love our communities, and though we are just as aggravated by traffic as anyone, we know there are better solutions. It is madness to destroy vast green spaces valued by so many people to make a road which will hardly put a dent in the real problem. We must embrace the 21st century and improve traffic while also preserving the environment which, once paved, will never return. We must reduce travel time with new solutions which actually work, not just mimic what has not worked in the past.

The Kenmore Bypass Study has progressed to the next level despite significant opposition. Your continued actions are required so that we can demonstrate to Government that there are better and cheaper alternatives that will be environmentally and economically sustainable in the future. Please click here and complete these actions to help!

Please get involved by following the "Join the Effort" directions you see to the right.

The links to the left lead you to plenty of detailed information.

We are always looking for more help and more participation, so please help make a difference!
